The panel of Congress men during a council hearing mentioned that it is unlikely to operate California’s 64-billion-dollar rail due to lack of enough economic resources. The high-speed rail proposal is most likely to end up only with a single line connectivity owing to poor funds. The high-speed rail which was once planned to connect San Francisco with Los Angeles to enable a three-hour journey to reach the destination. But now it seems impossible due to uncertainties in the implementation process. As suggested earlier, the funds from a state event were supposed to sponsor the high-speed rail plan.
However, since the state event did not turn up well, the take off the high-speed rail plan seems to be stagnated. The state level event fell below the potentials. A discussion among the Government, politicians of the state and the railway board continues to go on to materialize the project. The constant questions from the Republic of California about the funds has finally received an answer. Several private associations show a remarkable interest towards a funding program for the high-speed rail plan to take off. The rail authority board and the government finally partake a sigh of relief.
The private organizations who conveyed interest towards funding for the high-speed rail project are looking at the successful implementation of a high-speed rail between the Central Valley and the Silicon Valley. As the construction process is on the go, the lines connecting the two destinations is scheduled to operate from the year 2025. This project was funded by Californian voters as well as the federal officials during the year 2008. A total of 13.5 billion dollars was offered to the railway board to proceed further. This high-speed rail is expected to function cost-effectively and be an effective initiative to meet the needs of the growing population.
